Salut mes amis! 私はマイクです。I'm a completely random, humorously witty, & deeply interesting fellow with a great love for many things. So don't be shy, just say hi.

I love Urban Outfitters, it’s like my go-to store for clothing. However, I think I’m going to start taking advice from more people to shop for things online more often so that I can get the same or relatively the same looking clothing at an extremely discounted price. :)
Bonsoir. None of the pictures on my tumblr are really mine unless its an actual picture of me. I usually import them from outside sources and other blogs. So I dont mind at all. :)
I’m American, but I speak French and I’m currently learning Japanese. Though, I’d also really like to learn Korean and eventually Spanish. I also have an interest in Italian and Portuguese as well. If I could learn every language I would because I’m a huge linguaphile and lover of world cultures and travel.
lol why thank you. and yes i remember you now actually
Without them we wouldn’t be living, because surely we arent in Heaven. I suppose though that the flux and flow of life is healthy to a degree, as everyone needs at least a little bit of stress in their life. And surely it helps us grow as individuals to learn from the negative things in our life
Call me the odd one out but I actually havnt read the hunger games or saw the movie yet. but i probably would die. though i am pretty smart and cunning—athletically though im not the best

As surprising as it may seem, I’m not much of a reader nor have I ever really been much of a reader. However, I can say this, I do generally like a lot more modern literature. The Stranger by Albert Camus (which I read in both English and French) and The Road by Cormac McCarthy were probably two of my favorite books that I have ever read. I also really enjoy poetry, especially writing poetry—but even with the writing I do it more when the mood strikes rather than just out of the blue to quench my bordom.
1) Intelligent - Because it’s a huge turn on when someone is able to hold an intellectual conversation and talk about matters of actual importance from time to time. No one likes an idiot… except maybe to laugh at.
2) Motivated - Because a person who does not set goals for themselves and is not driven to better themselves in all aspects of their life is really not worth my time. I want to be successful and lead a good life, and I want to look back and see my diligence and hard work as the primary source of my success.
3.) Humorous - Because it’s a necessary and healthy way to let go of some of the seriousness life often throws our way and to better enjoy life overall. One word for people with no sense of humor, “NEXT!”
4.) Compassionate - Because in such an imperfect world it’s necessary to be able to put oneself in the shoes of others (be they human or animal) and work towards positive change. This takes a very loving, empathetic, passionate individual—one who is definitely worthy of my attention.
5.) Cultured - Because I appreciate a person with a certain manner of sophistication about them, especially those with a great appreciation for learning more about the world around them, and the many languages and cultures yet to be explored. I would travel the world if I could just to experience all the amazing sites, people, food, culture, and languages. A cultured individual is certainly a more well-rounded individual.

For the most part, I don’t post a lot of asks because I don’t think my followers want Anon spam all over my Tumblr (but maybe they do). Other than that, I usually just answer User questions in private responses to try and minimize the amount of random text all over my Tumblr page, lol.
I guess the very best answer is to ask them yourself, or, if they’re someone you feel that you may be in love with, profess your love for them and gauge their response. However, you could always monitor the actions and emotions of the other person as well. Sometimes, if you’re good with picking up such subtleties, you may be able to get the hint. Do they want to see you a lot, are they really affectionate towards you, etc.? These are things you could take note of. Perhaps try and take the initiative yourself and see how the other person responds, too. And, unfortunately, just be aware that sometimes what seems like love may not really be the case and you’ll have to be able to use your common sense and logical reasoning to pick out sincerity from an act. Some people are better than others at reading people, but I’m sure if you took a lot of these things into account then things might become more clear. But, like I said, you will never TRULY know unless you ask.
I’m no expert on love, but common sense and reasoning can be a big help. Be wary of overly charming individuals and don’t ignore the fact that the saying, “love is blind,” reigns true in some situations, as every now and then it’s good to critique your own feelings and emotions.
I’m twenty, and If I had a dollar for every time I’ve ever been asked my sexual orientation by a stranger I’d be a millionaire by now, I swear. At this point I just keep ‘em guessing. Get to know me, I’m a lot more interesting than a label. And also, it’s OK to not go anon… I don’t bite. :P
I find that a lot of the time I get my inspiration from Nature or certain passions I have about things like travel, language, and culture. As of lately, I’ve been really into Autumn scenery 1) Because it’s Fall 2) It’s my favorite season and 3) I love the nostalgic feeling that tends to be associated with it. I love vintage as well, and perhaps that’s where I tend to get some of my nostalgia aspects from, too. Other than that, I have a thing for subtle beauty and I try to see something beautiful in even the most simple of things. :)
